When I got off the first FaceTime call with Breanna & Kody my face hurt because I was smiling so much!

Breanna is such a sweetheart. Our first conversation was so easy and light-hearted– all I remember is laughing a lot on that call! I knew right away she was a #AshleyElizabethBride and working with her would be such a pleasure. Not only did she have a great vision for her wedding day, but she had a fun idea for engagement portraits that I was TOTALLY down for: an engagement session on the beach. My traveler’s heart immediately started planning this destination session!

Breanna & Kody met in high school, then once schooling was over, they packed up and moved down to the sunshine state! Since some of their family still resides up north, that’s where their spring wedding will take place in 2021. However, this happy couple wanted to highlight their new home somehow. When Breanna asked me if I’d be willing to come to Florida, I couldn’t say YES fast enough!!

Capturing this sweet couple in a beautiful place, how could I say no?? 😍

The beach is their favorite part of their new home. To properly highlight that, we spent the sunset one evening on the shore of Honeymoon Island State Park, just north of Clearwater Beach to capture their engagement portraits! Breanna & Kody were naturals in front of the camera and a pure joy to photograph. I am very excited for their beautiful spring wedding next year! May cannot come fast enough!
