Savanah’s Senior Portraits | Shepherd University

We popped the confetti on this one 🎉and said ADIOS to Senior year!!

I felt so honored to do this session as Savanah is wrapping up her college career. Savanah and I became friends in a college photography class. We quickly learned we had a lot in common–both studying business AND photography– so we spent a LOT of time together! We motivated each other through college and through the growth of our photography businesses. (Follow her at Photography by Savanah!). And now, we are both doing different things, but we have stayed connected!

Fast forward to today! My brides & grooms would recognize her as my fabulous right-hand [wo] man & second shooter. She’s a great photographer who does a rockin’ job with groomsmen portraits AND keeping me grounded throughout a long wedding day 🙌🏼 I’m so thankful for her!

Now it’s her turn to put on the cap and gown. But Shepherd, along with all schools around the world, is postponing graduation to next year. My heart breaks for all high school and college seniors who have worked so hard to get to this final chapter. Savanah was a rockstar and crammed two degrees into FOUR YEARS! This girl worked her tail off to get to the finish line, but matters are out of our hands. Thankfully, one thing stayed the same– capturing her senior portraits!

I am so honored to do these portraits for you. I know senior year didn’t shake out how you dreamed. You poured your heart and soul into cranking out two degrees in four years. My heart breaks for you. But I sure hope you continue to stay strong and crush finals so you can be done with all this BS soon enough 😉
