I love a good speech! The ones that make you laugh and cry all at the same time, those are the best. The best part of a wedding day are the vows and the best man & maid of honor speeches! The words spoke during vows portray the love a couple has for one another. But a speech tells the heart-felt, humorous truth to who the couple is.

One of Brittney’s maid’s-of-honor was unable to attend the wedding due to COVID. In her absence, she pre-recorded her speech. This maid of honor shared how she knew the bride, and made the crowd chuckle with a few inside jokes. I can’t remember the exact words, but in the speech, Brittney was referred to as a person who loves hard. And there was no other truer statement. I didn’t need to hear her speech to know Brittney loved Aaron fiercely, because it’s obvious if you spend just a few minutes with her.

Fierce Love.

As she was getting ready for her wedding, when there’s a million things to worry about, she wanted to make sure Aaron was done what was needed for photo ops, and he could get back with his friends, having a good time, relaxing before the ceremony. The way she talks about him, treats him and looks at him just spells out LOVE. Just look at their portraits! She has a hard passion in her heart for Aaron. A kind of passion where she is jumping for joy and crying in excitement all at the same time as she was preparing to walk down that aisle.

Thank you for letting me follow you around all day like crazy paparazzi. I consider it a blessing to have gotten to know you two and our families. I know you will have a beautiful marriage with a house full of love. May God bless you through your years.
