Joey & Kim got married in one of my favorite small towns, Shepherdstown, West Virginia at a beautiful venue called Wild Goose Farm. Needless to say, in the middle of the ceremony we were shown WHY the venue is call what it is!
Y’all wedding got me! Hand me the tissues!
From the moment Kim walked down the aisle, these two had tunnel vision from the moment they locked eyes. Nothing else mattered as they said “I Do.” No matter what had happened earlier that day, how many people were watching, they only cared about their promises to each other in those moments. And the vows…. my eyes certainly were NOT dry! I’m a huge fan of personal vows and these two nailed it, pouring their whole heart and soul into their words to one another.
Aside from the fact I cried on numerous occasions, this wedding was a little more unique than usual. I wasn’t just serving a beautiful bride & groom, I was serving people who have become family! I captured Joey’s sister’s wedding in 2019, so this was my second Drumhesier wedding. How wonderful it was to see familiar faces and be welcomed with warm hugs and so many smiles!!! Since all the siblings are married off, we’ll be coming up with excuses to meet again 😉
