Branding Photography for Social Media Content: A Fun Time with Friends in Florida

Alongside photography, social media content creation and branding photography are passions of mine. Due to that, when my boyfriend, Blair, asked me to help him pull off branding photography for social media content for a friend of his in Florida, I readily agreed!

For a bit of background, Blair is a mechanic and, at one time, was on a TV show for Motor Trend called Junkyard Empire. He and a man named Andy Cohen ran the show. An accident put Andy off the air for a while as he recovered. But he recently returned to work and wanted to make a big comeback and increase his social media efforts. This is how some of my branding photography services came into the picture!

So with my social media and camera skills, Blair and I traveled down to Brooksville, Florida, to help Andy. While there, I captured the behind-the-scenes of a podcast that Blair and Andy were featured in and took branding photography content for Andy’s social media!

The event space we went to was the headquarters for two automotive products: Monster Transmission and Thor Converters. I got to take some portraits and help Blair build relationships with both of these brands!

More Branding Photography Means More Social Media Content

While in Florida, Blair and I also took Andy to visit Tommy, one of their mutual friends, who also had appeared on their show. Tommy runs his own business called Tommy Built Tactical, making custom tactical equipment and even some items for Star Wars movies! We spent some time checking out his operations, and I took more branding photography pictures for Andy’s social media and then for Tommy’s business as well!

This trip was so special and memorable, and a rare occasion to merge my work with Blair’s! I learned that there is so much more to the automotive world than just turning wrenches and fixing things! By using my talents to help him, I gained a new perspective on his interest and was shown a side of his business that I had never experienced before.

Thank you, Blair, Andy and Tommy for giving me a change of pace and an exciting and fun weekend!
